WHO WE ARE

WHO WE ARE

Because Jesus came to seek and save the lost, we feel compelled to do the same. We do whatever it takes to get the invitation out, because we want everyone to know Jesus and to belong to a vibrant church family.
Through the various ministries of Hope Family Church, we desire for people to not only meet Christ, but to serve Him daily and become more like Him. We believe that as our church continues to grow spiritually and in numbers, we’ll make a bigger impact for His glory.
At Hope Family Church it is not about ā€œusā€. It is all about God and other people. Hope Family Church George has started Hope Family Church Parkdene as well as two Hope Centres, one in Wilderness Heights and one in Protea Park. Through our Hope Centres we strive to meet both spiritual & physical needs in our community. We also have a sister church in Western Zambia, called Hope Family Church Mongu. It is a privilege to serve and resource these churches.
Our deepest desire is to make Jesus known. It is all about Him. We believe He is building a home, Hope Family Church, and He is using us all! It is so exciting to be a part of it!

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible
We believe the entire Bible is inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine.
The Trinity
We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as Saviour of the world. The Holy Spirit leads and guides us into all truth and empowers us for effective ministry.
Salvation
We believe Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that salvation is found by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again.
Water Baptism
We believe water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Communion
We believe in the regular taking of Communion as an act of remembering what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross.
Growing Relationship
We believe every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the image of Christ.
